Denver Broncos place Derek Wolfe on injured reserve

The Denver Broncos have announced that they have placed defensive end Derek Wolfe on their injured reserve list.

Wolfe has been out of action since week 12 after he suffered seizure-like symptoms when travelling with his teammates ahead of their clash with the Kansas City Chiefs.

The Broncos deemed that he could not return to the field for the rest of their campaign after holding him out of the rest of their games this season and have now ended it by placing him on IR.

The 23-year-old had 16 tackles and four sacks in the 2013 regular season.
