Champ Bailey: "I'm ready to go"

Bailey: "I'm ready to go"

Denver Broncos cornerback Champ Bailey has revealed that he is ready to return from injury after a spell on the sidelines.

The 35-year-old has struggled throughout the year with a foot injury he sustained in pre-season and has been in and out of the side since, leading to troubles in the Broncos secondary.

"I feel good about what I can do," Bailey told the club's official website. "I think now it's just being smart about how I go about doing it and making sure I don't have any setbacks and I don't wear myself down or anything like that.

"The good thing is I'm fresh, I'm ready to go. I've had some time off and I'm ready to go."

Denver are 11-3 in their season going into week 16.
