Darren McFadden to join Dallas Cowboys

Former Oakland Raiders star Darren McFadden agrees to a two-year deal with the Dallas Cowboys, according to reports.

The Dallas Cowboys have reportedly secured the signing of Darren McFadden, with the running back agreeing to a two-year deal with the franchise.

McFadden ran for 4,247 yards on 1,038 carries and 25 touchdowns during his seven seasons with the Oakland Raiders ahead of his move.

He also caught 211 passes for 1,769 yards and five touchdowns, but is now tasked with filling the gap left by DeMarco Murray's exit.

Last season was the first year in which the Raiders star was able to play in all 16 games of the regular season after struggling with injuries throughout his career.

The 27-year-old had 534 yards on 155 carries in 2014, and has averaged 3.4 yards or fewer per carry for the past three seasons.
