Cowboys edge tight game with Eagles

The Dallas Cowboys held on to record a narrow victory over divisional rivals the Philadelphia Eagles in an action-packed game.

A quiet first quarter saw the Eagles take the lead through the only scoring play, a Bryce Brown touchdown.

Both sides added a field goal and a touchdown in the second quarter, leaving the Eagles with a seven-point lead at half-time.

Dez Bryant and Riley Cooper each added a score to leave the game finely-balanced heading into the final quarter.

Three Dallas touchdowns saw the Cowboys take the lead. Damaris Johnson returned a punt 98 yards for a touchdown to keep the Eagles in the game, but they were unable to find another score, losing 33-38.

Quarterback Tony Romo becomes the franchise leader in touchdown passes for the Cowboys, overtaking Troy Aikman.
