Darren McFadden: 'I feel like a rookie again'

Darren McFadden claims that he feels like a rookie again as he prepares for his first season with the Dallas Cowboys.

Darren McFadden has revealed that he is approaching the new season with the outlook of a rookie after moving to the Dallas Cowboys.

The running back's seven-year spell with the Oakland Raiders ended when he signed a two-year deal with the Cowboys in March, and he is excited about what he can achieve in Texas.

"It's great to be in Dallas," McFadden told reporters. "I'm looking forward to getting on the field with those guys and doing great things this year.

"[It's] definitely exciting. I tell everybody I feel like a rookie all over again.

"I just want to go out there, stay healthy and run the ball the way I know I can run the ball."

McFadden averaged less than 3.5 yards per carry in each of his final three seasons with the Raiders.
