Jerry Jones confident that Dallas Cowboys are "better" after Draft

Jones: 'Cowboys are better'

Dallas Cowboys owner and general manager Jerry Jones has insisted that the team is much better after the NFL Draft helped them to strengthen their roster.

Dallas secured a third consecutive 8-8 season last year, but Jones is confident that they can improve on that in the new campaign.

"Yes, we are better. There's no question about that. Relative to where we played last year, we've had a very impactful draft. We're better," Jones is quoted as saying by Pro Football Talk.

The Cowboys selected offensive tackle Zack Martin with the 16th overall pick in the first round despite speculation that they could target quarterback Johnny Manziel.
