Cowboys set for new $115m training complex

The Dallas Cowboys have received the final approval for a deal to move to a new $115m training complex.

The deal will see them leave Irving after 40 years to move to Frisco, a suburb around 30 miles north of Dallas.

The complex will include an indoor stadium that will house Frisco high school football matches as well as a new headquarters for the Cowboys.

Cowboys tight end Jason Witten believes that the new facilities will be of the highest quality and is looking forward to using them.

"It sounds great. I think as players you don't really have any control over that. It's a new facility, and you always appreciate everything about this organization is first-class. I'm sure that won't be any different," he told The AP.

The Cowboys will begin the new NFL season against the New York Giants on September 8.
