Half-Time Report: Philadelphia Eagles shading Dallas Cowboys clash

The Philadelphia Eagles lead the Dallas Cowboys 17-10 at half time in their NFC East clash at AT&T Stadium.

The Philadelphia Eagles have opened up a seven-point half-time lead over the Dallas Cowboys in a do-or-die NFC East clash at AT&T Stadium.

The winner will confirm their place in the post-season playoffs.

Alex Henery got the scoreboard ticking with a 47-yard field goal, which turned out to be the only score of the first quarter.

The Eagles went further ahead when Nick Foles faked a handoff to DeSean Jackson and instead threw three yards to Lesean McCoy, who took it into the endzone.

A great piece of athleticism brought up the Cowboys' first points of the evening, as Gavin Escobar somersaulted over the onrushing Will Allen to score an acrobatic touchdown.

However, poor coverage from the home side allowed Brent Celek an unchecked run over the line to give the Eagles a 10-point cushion.

Dan Bailey chipped three points off with a 44-yard field goal just before the break.
