Mike Pettine: "I lose respect for people that cheat"

Cleveland Browns head coach Mike Pettine hints that he has lost respect for New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady in light of his involvement in the deflategate scandal.

Cleveland Browns head coach Mike Pettine has suggested that he has lost respect for New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady for his involvement in the deflategate scandal.

A report into the incident found that the 37-year-old was generally aware that a member of the Patriots' equipment staff had deflated his side's footballs in the AFC championship game against the Indianapolis Colts.

Pettine told reporters: "He's one of the best ever and it would be a shame to tarnish that. I've always had a lot of respect for him but I also lose a lot of respect for people that cheat."

Brady could face a four-game ban for his part in the scandal.
