Cleveland Browns player: 'We should have drafted Teddy Bridgewater'

An unnamed Cleveland Browns player says that the club would be a lot further along in contention for the playoffs had they drafted Teddy Bridgewater over Johnny Manziel.

An unnamed Cleveland Browns player has expressed his belief that the club would have been a lot better off had they drafted Teddy Bridgewater instead of Johnny Manziel.

The Browns selected Manziel with the 22nd pick of the 2014 Draft, while Bridgewater went 10 selections later to the Minnesota Vikings.

The two players had very different seasons as Bridgewater showed a great deal of promise in his 13 matches for the Vikings, while Manziel started only two games for the Browns and struggled immensely before ending the season on injured reserve.

The 22-year-old's attitude and performances on the pitch have led to criticism from his teammates, as one player told Bleacher Report: "Think about where we'd be now if we had drafted Teddy Bridgewater."

Manziel entered rehab at the start of the month to undergo treatment for personal problems.
