Hue Jackson urges Marvin Jones to challenge AJ Green

Cincinnati Bengals offensive coordinator Hue Jackson urges Marvin Jones to challenge AJ Green to become the club's number one wide receiver.

Cincinnati Bengals offensive coordinator Hue Jackson has challenged wide receiver Marvin Jones to try to displace AJ Green as the club's number one wideout.

The 24-year-old had a break-out season for the Bengals as he caught 10 touchdown passes, including four in one game against the New York Jets, which was just one fewer than his All-Pro teammate.

"Marvin Jones came on like gangbusters [last year] and he's got to go chase AJ [Green]," Jackson told the club's official website.

"Why not knock A.J. off the pedestal? When you have the friendly competition among your teammates, that's when things get really, really good, in my opinion."

Jones also recorded 51 receptions for 712 yards in the 2013 campaign.
