Forte: Jeffery is "coming into his own"

Chicago Bears running back Matt Forte believes that wide receiver Alshon Jeffery is "coming into his own" in the NFL.

The 23-year-old caught a career-high 12 passes for 243 yards and scored two touchdowns in his side's defeat to the Minnesota Vikings, pushing himself over 1,000 receiving yards for the season.

"He's coming into his own," Forte told the Chicago Tribune. "Alshon is doing what he's supposed to do.

"He's out there making plays and catching deep balls and being that downfield threat, and also jumping over guys."

Jeffery was drafted in the second round of the 2012 Draft out of South Carolina.
