Ron Rivera's men extended their lead when Cam Newton lofted the ball deep down the left sideline and Ted Ginn Jr beat his man to catch the ball and race into the endzone for a 74-yard-touchdown.

Newton and Ginn Jr connected for the second time of the match to compound the Panthers' advantage as the quarterback sent the ball deep and the wideout made the grab and ran into the endzone to complete the 46-yard score.

The home side notched their fourth score of the match when Newton sent the ball low to the back of the endzone for Ed Dickson to make a diving catch under pressure to put his team into a 28-point lead.
