Yanda signs four-year Ravens extension

The Baltimore Ravens have confirmed that they have signed offensive lineman Marshal Yanda to a four-year contract extension.

The 31-year-old was selected by the AFC North side in the third round of the 2007 Draft and has become an integral part of their side in his eight years at the club, including their Super Bowl triumph in the 2012 campaign.

Yanda has now secured his future with the Ravens until the end of the 2019 season, although the terms of the contract were not disclosed by the franchise.

He told the club's official website: "My family and I are very excited to stay with such an incredible organisation.

"We feel fortunate to have reached an extension, and I look forward to carrying on the Baltimore Ravens' great tradition. Hopefully, I will finish my career as a Raven."

Yanda was named a first-team All-Pro in the 2014 season.
