Torrey Smith: "I've got to play better"

Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Torrey Smith admits that he needs to play better football despite closing in on the club's receiving yards record.

Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Torrey Smith has admitted that he needs to "play better" despite closing in on the club's record for receiving yards.

Smith has posted career highs for receptions with 54 and yards with 952 and needs only 250 yards in the last four games of the year to beat Michael Jackson's record of 1,206 set in 1996.

He told the Baltimore Sun: "I should have already had [the record], so I'm not satisfied. I've got to play better. Just like last game, there are three plays still in my mind that I should have made.

"That's what I really focus on, being the best player that I can be for our team. If it comes with putting up numbers and our franchise's records, that's cool. But at the end of the day, it's all about winning."

Smith was drafted 56th overall by the Ravens in the 2011 Draft.
