Dennis Pitta: "We don't feel we get the respect we deserve"

Baltimore Ravens tight end Dennis Pitta believes that his side are not getting the respect they deserve for their Super Bowl triumph last season.

Baltimore Ravens tight end Dennis Pitta believes that he and his teammates are not getting the respect they "deserve" for winning the Super Bowl last season.

The Ravens struggled throughout the 2012 campaign but went on a four-game winning streak in the playoffs to clinch the Vince Lombardi Trophy by beating the San Francisco 49ers in the Mercedes-Benz Superdome.

Pitta told "We always kind of joke about it we don't feel like we get the respect that we deserve, you know we did win the Super Bowl last year and we felt like the 49ers were talked about more than we were all season.

"You know, that's just kind of who we are and that's what we embrace, and we feel like no one really gives us the credit or the respect that we deserve but that's why we play with a chip on our shoulder."

John Harbaugh's currently hold the sixth seed for the AFC playoffs with three games to play this season with a 7-6 record.
