James Ihedigbo: 'We were embarrassed by Peyton Manning'

Baltimore Ravens safety James Ihedigbo reveals that he and his teammates are eager to redeem themselves after being embarrassed by Peyton Manning in week one.

Baltimore Ravens safety James Ihedigbo has admitted that he and his teammates are looking to bounce back in week two after being embarrassed by Peyton Manning in their season opener.

The Ravens were hammered 49-27 by the Denver Broncos on the opening day of the season, as Manning threw for an NFL record seven touchdown passes at Mile High Stadium.

Ihedigbo told reporters: "Of course, it is a competitive league. We are competitive by nature playing at this level. Any time you get beat like that is embarrassing.

"We are focused on Cleveland and all of the corrections that need to be made from last week. Our mindset is to put the best game plan forward. We need to get after it a little bit.

"The mistakes that were made are easily correctable, and they have been corrected. We're focused on putting together a great game plan this week and playing Ravens defense."

The Ravens face the Cleveland Browns in week two.
