Report: Baltimore Ravens' Matt Elam ruled out of 2015 campaign

A report suggests that Baltimore Ravens safety Matt Elam will miss the 2015 season after tearing his biceps during a practice session.

Baltimore Ravens safety Matt Elam has been ruled out for the 2015 season, according to a report.

The 23-year-old was selected in the first round of the 2013 Draft by the Ravens, and the defensive back started 26 matches in his first two seasons for the club.

However, Elam will now miss the 2015 campaign after tearing his biceps during a practice in his side's training camp and will need surgery to repair the problem, reports NFL Network.

Elam has recorded 127 tackles, 0.5 sacks and one interception in his two years in the NFL.
