The Eagles took the lead in the first quarter when Nick Foles faked the handoff to LeSean McCoy, and then drilled the ball to Jeremy Maclin, who ran into the endzone untouched for a 21-yard score.

Arizona rallied to hit back at Philadelphia as Carson Palmer hit Larry Fitzgerald for a 20-yard reception to get his side to the goalline, where he handed off to Andre Ellington to tie the scores with a one-yard touchdown run.

The Eagles should have retaken the lead at the start of the second quarter as Foles moved his side downfield, but receiver Josh Huff fumbled the ball on the five-yard line of the Cardinals and Deone Bucannon gathered for the home side.

Both defenses began to dominate the game late in the second quarter to ensure the sides went into the break level at the University of Phoenix Stadium.
