Three-time Olympic champion Grant Hackett has been handed a place in Australia's relay team for the World Championships in Kazan, Russia following a six-year absence.
The 34-year-old, who came out of retirement six months ago, managed to finish the 200m final fourth in a time of one minute and 46.84 seconds at the nationals in Sydney last week.
Hackett headed into the meet knowing that he needed to finish in the top six in order to earn a place in the World Championship squad, who will compete in the tournament in July.
The Olympian won 1500m freestyle gold in both the 2000 and 2004 Games, as well as gold in the 4x200m freestyle relay in Sydney.
