Tim Swiel kicks Harlequins to win over Newcastle Falcons

Fly-half Tim Swiel kicks five penalties as Harlequins secure a 15-7 win over Newcastle Falcons in the Aviva Premiership.

Tim Swiel kicked all of the points for Harlequins as they edged out Newcastle Falcons 15-7 in the Aviva Premiership this afternoon.

The fly-half gave the hosts a narrow lead early on when he kicked an eighth-minute penalty, while chances remained scarce in the remainder of the opening 40 minutes.

However, a quick break just before half time ensured that the visitors led at the interval when Alesana Tuilagi forced his way over out wide.

The sides remained close early in the second half, but Swiel kicked four penalties in 12 minutes to open up a lead for the hosts and seal the victory.

The result moves Harlequins up to seventh in the table, while Newcastle stay 10th.
