George Ford enjoying life under Eddie Jones

England fly-half George Ford says that the squad have "responded brilliantly" to the coaching methods of Eddie Jones.

England fly-half George Ford has said that the players have "responded brilliantly" to new head coach Eddie Jones so far.

The appointment of the former Australia and Japan boss was seen as big step away from Stuart Lancaster's previous regime, but Jones has started well with three wins from his three games at the helm.

Ford has been particularly impressed by the "honesty" that Jones has brought to the role and believes that his coaching style will bring the best out of the players.

"He fills the lads with great confidence. He wants to play the game in an attacking style. He wants to go at teams and a lot of the lads have responded brilliantly to that," he told Sky Sports News.

"He's very honest with feedback he gives you on what you need to do in a game and what he expects of you, but he also makes the weeks and days of training very enjoyable at the same time.

"I think the honesty has made a huge difference because you understand where you stand, you understand what you need to do, what you need to get better at, and you can go away and work at it. That's all a player wants. Some honest feedback on their game and what they can do to get better."

England could lift the Six Nations title with a game to spare next weekend should they beat Wales at Twickenham and Scotland overcome France.
