Super League roundup: Warrington Wolves, Salford Red Devils win

Sports Mole rounds up all the action from Sunday's games in the Super League.

Warrington Wolves have cruised to a comfortable win over Wakefield Trinity Wildcats, scoring seven tries in their Super League match this afternoon.

The visitors dominated the early possession, with Stefan Ratchford opening the scoring as they ran in four early tries, but two scores from Jacob Miller kept Wakefield in the game at half time.

Daryl Clark and Richie Myler sealed the win for Warrington early in the second half, but Miller finished the tie with four tries for the hosts.

Hull FC came from behind with a dominant second-half performance to beat Castleford Tigers in a closely-fought match.

Denny Solomona went over for two tries in the first half to put the visitors in control, but Hull fought back in the second half, with two late tries from Tom Lineham handing them the victory.

Salford Red Devils also needed an emphatic second-half performance to recover from a slow start against Hull Kingston Rovers, giving them back-to-back wins in the division.

The visitors were in control at the break, with Albert Kelly adding two tries in the opening 40 minutes to put Rovers 14 points ahead.

Salford made a quick start to the second half though, scoring three tries in the space of 10 minutes to level the scores, with Josh Griffin and Theo Fages among those crossing the line, before two tries in the final five minutes sealed the win for Salford.

Patrick Ah Van and Paddy Flynn both scored two tries each to lead Widnes Vikings to victory over Catalans Dragons.

Both went over in the first half to give the Vikings the lead at half time, but Louis Anderson and Elliott Whitehead ensured that the French side were still in the game.

Morgan Escare and Whitehead found the line inside the final 10 minutes to give Catalans some late hope, but Ah Van added his second late on too to make sure of the win.
