Tottenham Hotspur star Harry Kane expecting first child with girlfriend

Tottenham Hotspur star Harry Kane has announced that he and his girlfriend Kate Goodland are expecting their first child together.

The 22-year-old striker, who had a disappointing Euro 2016 with England as they were dumped out by Iceland in the last-16 stage, will become a father early next year.

Kane and Goodland, who are owners of two dogs Brady and Wilson, have been in a relationship for five years.

This afternoon, the footballer tweeted: "So happy that @KateGoodlandx and I are expecting our first child! Exciting times ahead! Can't wait!"

He added a picture of the couple's two dogs wearing signs that read, 'Mum and Dad are getting us a human! Guard dog duty starts January 2017'.
