Southampton have become the first Premier League club to join social messaging service Snapchat.
The Saints have opened an account with the handle 'southamptonfc', which will allow them to send their fans direct picture messages to their smartphones.
The top-flight outfit announced the development on their official website, claiming that they will give users an insight into behind-the-scenes action at St Mary's Stadium.
The former Championship club already have Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and Vine accounts.
