Olympic gymnast Louis Smith looking forward to becoming a father

Smith looking forward to fatherhood

Olympic gymnast Louis Smith has revealed that he is excited about becoming a father in the future.

The 23-year-old entered the limelight during last summer's Olympic Games in London, where he nabbed a bronze and silver medal. Following his success, the gymnast went on to win BBC One reality show Strictly Come Dancing.

Despite his fame, Smith has claimed that he is still looking to fall in love and believes that he would make a "great dad".

"I'm very fussy in terms of who I get into a relationship with but when I am, I wear my heart on my sleeve," Smith told Hello! magazine.

"I wouldn't say I fall in love easily, but I can't wait to be in love again. I want a little Louis Smith junior running around, pulling the dog's tail. I think I'd be a great dad."

Smith has been single for the past two years.
