Judy Murray: 'Too ambitious to think about winning 'Strictly Come Dancing''

Andy Murray's mother Judy says that it is too "ambitious" to think about winning Strictly Come Dancing.

Judy Murray has revealed that she plans to take her stint on the BBC's Strictly Come Dancing one week at a time.

The 55-year-old, who is the mother of 2013 Wimbledon champion Andy Murray, was partnered with professional dancer Anton du Beke during last night's launch show.

"It's a bit ambitious to think about winning," the Daily Mail quotes Murray as saying. "If I could focus on getting through the first week without tripping, that would be a major achievement for me. It's like Wimbledon – one round at a time."

Murray, who works as a tennis coach, has joined the likes of Pixie Lott, Mark Wright and Radio One DJ Scott Mills in the celebrity lineup.
