Murray: 'Winning 'Strictly' is too ambitious'

Judy Murray has revealed that she plans to take her stint on the BBC's Strictly Come Dancing one week at a time.

The 55-year-old, who is the mother of 2013 Wimbledon champion Andy Murray, was partnered with professional dancer Anton du Beke during last night's launch show.

"It's a bit ambitious to think about winning," the Daily Mail quotes Murray as saying. "If I could focus on getting through the first week without tripping, that would be a major achievement for me. It's like Wimbledon – one round at a time."

Murray, who works as a tennis coach, has joined the likes of Pixie Lott, Mark Wright and Radio One DJ Scott Mills in the celebrity lineup.
