Carl Froch signs up for ITV dancing show 'Stepping Out'

IBF and WBA super middleweight champion Carl Froch has signed up to appear in ITV's new dancing show Stepping Out alongside girlfriend Rachael Cordingley.

The 36-year-old, who has admitted that his friends have made fun of his new role, will join a host of celebrities learning to dance with their real life partners.

"All my mates are taking the mickey out of me but I think they are all jealous really," the Daily Star quotes Froch as saying. "It's giving me and Rachael more time ­ together away from the kids, which is really nice. We are ­loving it.

"Before a fight there is a sex ban but there hasn't been one imposed for this show, so we are making the most of it."

The couple have two children.
