Tom Daley 'overwhelmed' by support since announcement

Tom Daley has confessed that he is "overwhelmed" by the support he has received since announcing that he is in a relationship with a man.

The Olympic bronze medallist made the revelation in an online video released last month.

"The support from the public and the media and everyone has been overwhelming," the 19-year-old told BBC Sport.

"It's been so positive and it's put me in a great place and right now I couldn't be happier. Hopefully 2014 is going to be a good year."

Daley will compete in London for the first time since the 2012 Olympic Games in April when he takes part in the World Cup Diving event.
