Andy Murray has revealed that former Wimbledon and Australian Open champion Amelie Mauresmo has given birth to a son.
The 36-year-old Frenchwoman, who is currently the coach of the British number one, announced that she was expecting earlier this year.
Speaking after defeating Novak Djokovic in the final of the Montreal Masters, Murray revealed: "She gave birth to a baby boy this morning. I'm not sure she would have stayed up to watch this one."
Mauresmo retired from playing in 2009.
