Manchester United's Old Trafford stadium 'crawling with rats'

Manchester United's home ground of Old Trafford was reportedly found to be infested with rats during an inspection.

A health inspection on Manchester United's home stadium of Old Trafford reportedly found that the stadium was crawling with rats.

Premier League grounds have recently been under scrutiny by health bosses and it is believed that a number of stadiums have not met the required standards.

While United's home was thought to be infested with rats, Chelsea's ground Stamford Bridge is believed to have served turkey to customers well past its sell by date, according to the Daily Star.

Reports have claimed that Everton, Arsenal, Liverpool, Tottenham Hotspur, Newcastle United, West Bromwich Albion and Sunderland were found not to have serious problems following the inspection.
