Manchester United's Henrikh Mkhitaryan mocked for 'looking pregnant'

Manchester United have been forced to delete a tweet featuring a photo of Henrikh Mkhitaryan following claims that the player looks "pregnant" in the picture.

The photograph depicted the Armenia international modelling the team's new kit, complete with some pre-season podge around his midriff.

United's social media team was forced to pull the post a short time later following a fan backlash, with many posters remarking that Mkhitaryan looks like he is due to give birth.

However, dozens took a screenshot of the post and continued to poke fun at the player.

Mkhitaryan scored four goals for United last season, including a strike in the 2-0 victory over Ajax in the Europa League final.
