Video: England cricketer Joe Root plays Arctic Monkeys tune on ukulele

England cricketer Joe Root has shown that he possesses some musical talent by playing the ukulele.

The 23-year-old proved his skills by playing a version of Arctic Monkeys' 'Mardy Bum' in his hotel room in Sri Lanka.

The England and Wales Cricket Board uploaded a video of Root in action prior to today's fifth one-day international in Pallekele.

England are currently 3-1 down in the series.
