Sergio Garcia equals Seve Ballesteros's Spanish record of nine PGA Tour wins by sealing a playoff victory in the AT&T Byron Nelson.

Sergio Garcia took home the AT&T Byron Nelson crown after beating Brooks Koepka in a playoff on Sunday.

The 36-year-old's victory has equalled Seve Ballesteros's Spanish record of nine PGA Tour wins.

Garcia had some troubling moments around the course as he hit his ball into water twice, but he managed to match Koepka's 15-under-par lead with a final-round 68.

In the playoff, Garcia made a par on the first hole, while Koepka ruined his chances of glory after finding water in his attempt.

World number two Jordan Spieth began the day two strokes off the pace, but ended up finishing 16th in the field, five shots off the leaders with a four-over-par 74.
