Maurizio Arrivabene says that it is premature for Ferrari to be embroiled in the 2017 driver 'silly season'.

Maurizio Arrivabene has said that it is premature for Ferrari to be embroiled in the 2017 driver 'silly season'.

Italy's Corriere della Sera this week suggested that talks between the famous Maranello team and Mercedes's championship leader Nico Rosberg have begun.

"[Valtteri] Bottas, [Daniel] Ricciardo, [Nico] Hulkenberg, there are so many good drivers in Formula 1," team boss Arrivabene is quoted as saying by Speed Week.

"But it would be completely wrong to circulate names. We concentrate on Kimi [Raikkonen] and hope that everything continues to go as it has."

Ferrari trail leaders Mercedes by 48 points in the team rankings following the Spanish Grand Prix.
