McDonald close to securing Fulham move?

Wolverhampton Wanderers have reportedly agreed to sell midfielder Kevin McDonald to Fulham.

McDonald has made 126 appearances for the Molineux outfit since joining the club in 2013, but he found himself out of the side during the closing weeks of last season and he has continually been linked with a move away from the Championship outfit.

According to the Express & Star, Fulham have made an approach for the 27-year-old and after he failed to feature in a friendly against Shrewsbury Town on Saturday, it has been claimed that a fee has been agreed between the two clubs.

Talks are said to be at an advanced stage, with McDonald potentially being confirmed as a Fulham player at the start of next week if personal terms can be agreed.

The sale would come at a time when Wolves are unable to push through any signings of their own as they reportedly move closer to being taken over by Chinese billionaire Robert Li.
