West Ham United boss Slaven Bilic rejects rumours Fenerbahce want him

Slaven Bilic rejects Fenerbahce rumours

West Ham United manager Slaven Bilic has turned down reports that Fenerbahce are keen for him to take charge in the summer.

The 47-year-old has had an impressive first season at Upton Park given that the team are currently sixth in the Premier League table, one point behind fifth-placed Manchester United.

Bilic, who took over from Sam Allardyce after leaving Besiktas last year, has insisted that he has no plans to leave West Ham.

"I have many friends in Turkey, but I'm happy here," Bilic told reporters in Friday's press conference. "When it comes to Turkey, Fenerbahce are a massive club, but in Turkey there is only one club for me, and that's Besiktas."

Bilic coached Besiktas for two years.
