Slaven Bilic hails Darren Randolph reaction

West Ham United manager Slaven Bilic praises the reaction of Darren Randolph after he gifted Liverpool a goal during their 2-2 draw at Anfield.

West Ham United manager Slaven Bilic has praised goalkeeper Darren Randolph for the way he reacted to his mistake during this afternoon's 2-2 draw with Liverpool at Anfield.

Randolph was at fault for the hosts' equalising goal early in the second half when he spilt a cross at the feet of Divock Origi, who made no mistake with his finish.

However, the Hammers keeper went some way to atoning for that error with a stunning save to deny Jordan Henderson later in the half, and Bilic was pleased with the reaction.

"That is the nature of the goalkeeper's job. He made a mistake for their second goal that is true but before that and after that he showed great individual reaction," he told reporters.

"After the goal he showed his quality and composure when he made some great saves - that strike from Henderson was a crucial moment for us."

West Ham's next three matches will see them take on Burnley, Hull City and Swansea City.
