Watford manager Walter Mazzarri questions his side's hunger and determination following their 2-0 defeat to Burnley at Turf Moor.

Watford manager Walter Mazzarri has admitted that his side were "not good enough" during their 2-0 defeat to Burnley at Turf Moor this evening.

The Hornets went into the match off the back of successive wins over West Ham United and Manchester United, but fell to a comfortable defeat courtesy of goals from Jeff Hendrick and Michael Keane.

Mazzarri admitted that his side were second best, and questioned why the team showed less determination than in their recent victories.

"We were not playing good, we made changes which improved us but then we conceded a second goal which made it difficult for us," he told reporters.

"It was not good enough. I was hoping the players would come to the pitch with the same hunger and determination but they didn't. We will reflect. In English football it is difficult. Burnley were very aggressive, they also beat Liverpool."

Watford will look to bounce back from the defeat at home to Bournemouth on Saturday.
