Diego Lopez: Signing for Sevilla was the "right choice"

Recent Sevilla signing Diego Lopez has insisted that joining the club from Villarreal was the "right choice".

The goalkeeper, who joined Sevilla after Villarreal were relegated, has admitted that he is already enjoying life at the club and is looking forward to competing for the number one spot.

"I feel like I know everyone already and I am very happy to be here," Lopez told AS. "When you find everyone to your liking and working so hard I can say I have made the right choice in signing for this team.

"[Andres Palop and I] have to fight. We are two players for one position just like any other place on the field and we have to work as hard as possible with desire and intensity and then it is up to the manager."

Lopez has been capped once by Spain.
