Valencia sign Inter Milan defender Jeison Murillo on two-year loan deal

La Liga side Valencia confirm the signing of Inter Milan and Colombia international defender Jeison Murillo on a two-year loan deal with obligatory purchase.

Valencia have confirmed the signing of Inter Milan defender Jeison Murillo on a two-year loan deal.

The Colombian centre-back joined the Nerazzurri in 2015 from Spanish club Granada and has made 102 appearances for the Serie A giants.

Despite getting regular game time at Inter, Murillo was reportedly unsettled in Italy and the arrival of Slovakian defender Milan Skriniar from Sampdoria may have pushed him down the pecking order.

Los Che released a statement on their official website which announced that an agreement with Inter had been reached "with obligatory purchase" for Murillo.

Earlier in the day, the La Liga club also secured the signing of Brazilian defender Gabriel Paulista from Arsenal for an undisclosed fee.
