Swansea City sign Leroy Fer on loan from Queens Park Rangers

Swansea City have secured the loan signing of Queens Park Rangers midfielder Leroy Fer until the end of the season.

The 26-year-old, who joined QPR from Norwich City in 2014, has become Swansea's second January signing after Chievo striker Alberto Paloschi.

The central midfielder is no stranger to the Premier League having represented both QPR and Norwich in the top flight, while he is a Netherlands international of 11 caps.

Fer, who began his professional career at Dutch side Feyenoord, is unlikely to be eligible to make his debut against West Bromwich Albion on Tuesday, however, as he waits for international clearance.
