Swansea City conceded a last-minute penalty as they drew 1-1 with Russian side Kuban Krasnodar.

The Premier League side looked on course for their third successive victory in the Europa League after Michu netted from six yards after 68 minutes.

However, deep into added-on time, Gerhard Tremmel tripped Ibrahima Balde in the penalty area, and Djibril Cisse made no mistake from the spot.

Read below to see how the action unfolded at the Liberty Stadium.

Hello, and welcome to Sports Mole's coverage of the match between Swansea City and Kuban Krasnodar in the Europa League.

SWANSEA CITY XI: Tremmel, Tiendalli, Chico, Amat, Taylor, Canas, Shelvey, Dyer, Pozuelo, Michu, Bony

KUBAN KRASNODAR XI: Belenov, Kozlov, Xandao, Armas, Zhavnerchik, Kabore, Fidler, Khubulov, Melgarejo, Popov, Cisse

Swansea get us underway at the Liberty Stadium.

SHOT! Alexsei Kozlov tries his luck from 25 yards, but his shot was never threatening Tremmel's goal. Decent start from the visitors.

Swansea are slowly finding their feet now, with much of their play going through Shelvey and Canas in the middle of the park. They should have too much for Kuban, but they still need to go about their job in the right manner.

SHOT! Followers of English football will be aware of the threat that Djibril Cisse can pose, but his left-foot volley is lacking in quality and goes well wide of the post.

I don't think Kuban have been given enough credit before this match. They are the better team at the moment and only the intervention of Tremmel prevents a tap-in at the back post. Swansea need to be on their guard.

Swansea are beginning to pressure the ball a little more now, but Kuban don't seem phased. Cisse is looking like a player reborn since his Queens Park Rangers days

There has been a goal in Spain, where Valencia are hosting St Gallen in the other game in this group. It has gone to the home side, who have netted through Paco Alcacer.

CHANCE! Swansea finally create their first opportunity of note. Bony and Michu combine to get the ball through to Shelvey, but the former Liverpool midfielder sliced his volley wide of the post from 14 yards. Should have done better.

CHANCE! Cisse starts a Kuban breakaway, and Chico is forced to clear from beneath his own crossbar after Khubulov's low cross caused confusion in the Swansea box.

Kuban are creating all of the running, but Swansea are breaking with purpose when they win the ball. Tiendalli flicked the ball into the path of Shelvey, but after the midfielder cut inside the defender, his effort went wide of the far post.

Valencia have doubled their lead in Spain. It looks as though they have fully recovered from their heavy loss to Swansea on matchday one.

You can hear a bit of discontent from the Swansea supporters. They aren't happening with what they have witnessed so far. I think a lot of them are surprised more than anything. It was believed that Kuban would roll over tonight, but it's the Russians who have been the better side.

Valencia have now scored FOUR against St Gallen. I thought St Gallen looked pretty good the other week...

BOOKING! Tiendalli is a very, VERY lucky boy. He has tugged back Lorenzo Melgarejo when through on goal, and he is handed a yellow card when it should have been a red. The Kuban camp are furious.

There's just five minutes remaining until half time. I think Michael Laudrup will be grateful to get his side back in the dressing room.

BOOKING! Igor Armas concedes a free kick on the edge of the area after a late challenge on Michu, and he is promptly booked for the offence. Shelvey struck the free kick but it was always rising over the bar.

HALF TIME: Swansea City 0-0 Kuban Krasnodar

The referee decides that no added-on time is required, and blows the half-time whistle. It has proven to be a difficult 45 minutes for Swansea, who have struggled to create anything against the supposed minnows of the group. Michael Laudrup will need to change a couple of things if his team are going to earn their third straight victory.

Swansea have enjoyed a massive 70% of possession, apparently, but it is Krasnodar who have created the more attempts on goal with nine efforts compared to Swansea's six.

Laudrup doesn't have too many attacking options on the bench. He will likely turn to Alvaro Vasquez should his team not find the breakthrough in the opening 20 minutes after the restart.

The action is underway in the second half.

CHANCE! Kuban earn an early corner after Taylor forced the ball out of play, and Cisse got ahead of his marker to head the set piece into the hands of Tremmel.

I've been so impressed with Kuban, specifically Khubulov who has pace to burn on the right-hand side. His raw speed helps create another chance for his side, but the shot was deflected wide for a corner.

Looking ahead, Swansea could have their work cut out when they travel to Russia in a couple of weeks time. It makes tonight's result all that more important because everyone already had them through to the next round before the start of the evening.

Swansea win a corner when a Kuban defender needlessly heads the ball out. However, the ball in was dealt with by the defence, before Flores committed the foul.

SUBSTITUTIONS! Laudrup makes two changes to his side shortly before the hour mark. The Spanish duo of Angel Rangel and Alvaro Vasquez have been thrown into the action in place of Tiendalli and Bony.

SUBSTITUTION! It's Kuban's turn to make an alteration. Lorenzo Melgarejo has the left the pitch to be replaced by Gheorghe Bucur

There's a bit of a lull in the action now. Maybe both sides are trying to adjust to the changes? Shelvey, who has probably been Swansea's best player this evening, attempts to engineer something through the middle but he wants too much time to get a shot away.

GOAL! Swansea City 1-0 Kuban Krasnodar (Michu)

Swansea take the lead, and who else would it be who has scored the goal? Pozuelo chips the ball over the Kuban defence for Michu to slid in ahead of the goalkeeper, with the ball rolling into the empty net.

The mood has changed at the Liberty Stadium. The home crowd sound a lot more vocal, and why wouldn't they be? They are on top now. Shelvey curls a free kick towards goal but it is easily dealt with by Belenov.

CHANCE! Nathan Dyer runs almost the length of the pitch to get to a crossing position on the right. He opts against delivering the ball in the box to play a shorter pass to Vasquez, but his lob goes straight into the hands of Belenov.

SUBSTITUTION! Laudrup makes his third and final change of the evening, bringing on Lamah for Dyer.

Valencia are now 5-1 ahead against St Gallen. That's some performance against the Swiss side.

There are eight minutes remaining at the Liberty Stadium. Swansea look in control, but Kuban look threatening on the break. They can't afford to take their foot off the gas.

CHANCE! That was a little risky from Rangel. A cross came in from Kozlov which Balde headed over the bar, but he only headed the ball over after a nudge from the full-back. I've seen them given.

There will be two minutes of added-on time.

CHANCE! A sweeping move ends with Rangel striking a first-time shot straight at Belenov. One minute remaining.

PENALTY TO KUBAN!

Tremmel brings down Balde with two seconds to go. Cisse to take...

GOAL! Swansea City 1-1 Kuban Krasnodar (Cisse)

Cisse makes no mistake from the spot. Tremmel went the right way but it was too far into the bottom corner.

FULL TIME: Swansea City 1-1 Kuban Krasnodar

Talk about a sucker-punch. To be fair to Kuban, they are probably deserving of an equaliser, but getting one in those circumstances is cruel on Swansea. Tremmel had no business coming out for the ball, but the referee made the correct decision in handing the Russian side the spot-kick.

Despite that late Kuban goal, Swansea still top Group A, but their advantage has been cut to just the one point, while they are four points ahead of St Gallen. Their trip to Russia in two weeks time just took on greater importance.

That will be all from Sports Mole this evening. Thank you for joining us for our coverage throughout the past four-and-a-half hours. Goodbye for now.
