Tottenham Hotspur ramp up Breel Embolo interest?

Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly considering a summer move for Basel's young Swiss attacker Breel Embolo.

Breel Embolo has reportedly moved up Tottenham Hotspur's shortlist of summer transfer targets.

Manager Mauricio Pochettino is expected to make at least one attack-minded signing to ease the goalscoring burden on Harry Kane.

Marseille's Michy Batshuayi is widely considered to be one of Pochettino's preferred options, but Spurs are thought to be facing extensive competition for the 22-year-old's signature.

As a result, The Telegraph claims, the North Londoners are now also pursuing Embolo.

The Swiss international, 19, has scored 30 goals in 86 appearances for Basel.
