Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly interested in bringing Southampton defender Dejan Lovren to White Hart Lane this summer.

The 24-year-old looks likely to leave the Saints, with numerous reports claiming that he has handed in a transfer request.

According to the Daily Star, Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino is keen to link up with the player again, having signed him from Lyon last summer while he was still in charge of Southampton.

Lovren is believed to have cost the Saints £8.5m last summer, but Spurs will have to pay £15m if they want to secure his services.

Croatian international Lovren is currently representing his country at the World Cup in Brazil.
