Mauricio Pochettino reportedly takes a trip to Qatar following a miserable week of results at Tottenham Hotspur.

Mauricio Pochettino has reportedly taken a trip to Qatar following Tottenham Hotspur's worst run of results since he became manager in 2014.

The Argentine is under serious pressure following a week which saw Spurs lose 7-2 at home to Bayern Munich and 3-0 at the hands of Brighton & Hove Albion.

Since the defeat at the Amex, Harry Winks has insisted that the Spurs dressing room remained fully supportive of their manager.

According to the Evening Standard, Pochettino has taken a trip to the Middle East with his assistant Jesus Perez.

The 47-year-old will spend two days at Aspire Global Summit on football performance, where he is due to make a speech, ahead of returning to London on Thursday.

Despite a poor run of form so far this season, Pochettino reportedly retains the total backing of the Spurs board.
