Roy Keane blasts Serge Aurier, Danny Rose following Tottenham Hotspur defeat

Pundit Roy Keane slams the performances of Tottenham Hotspur full-backs Danny Rose and Serge Aurier against Liverpool.

Former Manchester United captain Roy Keane has blasted the performances of Tottenham Hotspur full-backs Danny Rose and Serge Aurier during Sunday's Premier League clash with Liverpool.

Aurier conceded the penalty which led to Mohamed Salah securing all three points for Jurgen Klopp's side in the latter stages of the match.

Rose, meanwhile, struggled to contribute on the opposite side as Tottenham's poor start to the 2019-20 campaign continued at the home of the league leaders.

Keane labelled the defenders "Dumb and Dumber" when questioned on their performances at Anfield.

"The two Tottenham full-backs were dreadful. Dumb and Dumber, I'd call them. I thought they were really poor," Keane, who has been working as a pundit since leaving his role with Nottingham Forest, told Sky Sports News.

Tottenham have only collected 12 points from their 10 Premier League matches this season to sit 11th in the table ahead of next weekend's trip to Everton.
