Lille midfielder Sofiane Boufal is allegedly on the verge of joining Southampton.
The Saints are on course to shell out a club-record £20m on the Morocco international, Sky Sports News reports.
Watford are also said to be interested in the 22-year-old, who signed for Lille from Angers last year.
Boufal has earned two caps for Morocco, making his debut in an Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Cape Verde Islands in March.
