Nathan Redmond to undergo medical at Southampton?

Norwich City winger Nathan Redmond has reportedly moved closer to joining Southampton after it was claimed that he would undergo a medical with the Saints on Saturday.

Since Norwich were relegated to the Championship, Redmond has attracted plenty of interest from Premier League sides and earlier this month, it was suggested that he was nearing a switch to Stoke City.

However, according to Sky Sports News, the 22-year-old is said to be on the verge of moving to St Mary's after it was reported that he will undergo a medical with Southampton ahead of a potential £11m transfer.

The news comes after it was claimed on Friday that Liverpool were close to securing the signing of Sadio Mane for £30m.

Since joining Norwich in 2013, Redmond has scored 13 goals in 123 appearances in all competitions.
