Good evening! The final match from this week's around of La Liga fixtures gets underway in around half an hour when Getafe host Real Sociedad. Let's start with a look at the teams...

GETAFE STARTING XI: Guaita, Alexis, Velazquez, Naldo, Escudero, Lacen, Sarabia, Leon, Castro, Rodriguez, Vasquez

REAL SOCIEDAD STARTING XI: Rulli, Martinez, Ansotegui, Zaldua, Granero, Prieto, Pardo, Canales, Castro, Agirretxe

GETAFE SUBSTITUTES: Lopez, Hinestroza, Vigaray, Lago, Yoda, Selma, Diawara

REAL SOCIEDAD SUBSTITUTES: Zubikarai, Finnbogason, De La Bella, Urkola, Bergara, Hervias, Capilla

Having scored a late winner against Cordoba last time out, Juan Rodriguez starts up front for the hosts alongside Alvaro Vasquez.

As Sociedad continue to look for their first away win of the season, the visitors continue with Imanol Agirretxe and Sergio Canales in the attack, while Xabi Prieto should also be a threat on the wing.

Ahead of this match, Sociedad head coach David Moyes told the media: "It's very disappointing that we are talking about not winning away from home, but it will change. We need to try and win at Getafe. If we can win at Getafe, win at Cordoba, we can put ourselves in a strong position to try and finish eighth. This season's been terrible, but there's other seasons which have not been much better."

Meanwhile, recently-appointed Getafe coach Pablo Franco said at his pre-match press conference: "Hopefully we will play better than in Cordoba. The team have shown that they will fight to the end and have belief in their chances."

Both sides are in similar form coming into this match, with two wins and a loss in their last three outings ahead of tonight's clash. Getafe needed two late goals to come from behind for a win over bottom side Cordoba last Monday, while Sociedad clinched a narrow 1-0 win over Espanyol in their previous outing last weekend.

PREDICTION! The players are just making their way out ready for kickoff, so there's just time for a quick prediction. There's not a lot between these two sides, so there's potential for a draw this evening, and I'm going for a 1-1.

KICKOFF! The visitors gets the match underway!

There have been no real chance to speak of i the opening couple of minutes, but Sociedad are probably looking to sharper of the two sides, passing the ball around quickly in midfield, but Pedro Leon ensures that the visitors can't get forward.

Canales takes a high ball forward down superbly before trying to set up Granero for a run into the Getafe box, but the home side have numbers back and make sure Sociedad don't get the shot away.

The home side try to put Sociedad under pressure for the first time this evening with Leon using his pace down the right flank before playing it in towards Vasquez, but the midfielder puts too much on the pass, and it goes out for a goal kick.

PENALTY APPEAL! Pedro Leon is looking really dangerous early on as he cuts in from the right before being held up by Inigo Martinez. Leon ends up taking a tumble, and looks to the referee for a spot kick, but the official doesn't think there was anything wrong with the defender's block.

CHANCE! Diego Castro makes a stunning run down the right to create the space to play Vasquez in. The striker takes a touch before trying to blast the ball into the bottom left corner, but Geronimo Rulli is out quickly to make the stop.

CHANCE! It doesn't take Sociedad long to force a save down the other end as Castro crosses the ball in for Agirretxe, and the forward rises up high to head it, but it's straight at Vicente Guaita.

Agirretxe bursts forward from midfield looking to create an opening, but there's no-one forward in support, so he's forced to take it on himself, and he loses out to Velazquez as he tries to turn on the edge of the box.

OFF THE BAR! Granero loses the ball in midfield, allowing Leon to charge forward again for Getafe. There aren't too many option open for the midfielder, so he takes it on himself from the edge of the box, and it dips wildly, almost squeezing into the top corner, but it's just kept out by the bar.

Sociedad try to get down the other end, but they leave themselves short down the other end, allowing Leon and Alexis to team up on the counter-attack, but the midfielder can't find a way into the box this time, as Sociedad recover to clear the danger.

Lacen gets Getafe back into a decent position before squaring it for Diego Castro, but he hurries his finish as sliced it well wide, and it ends up going out closer to the corner flag than the goalpost!

Getafe have certainly been the dominant side in the last 10 minutes, and they're on the attack again as Sarabia crosses it in towards Vasquez, but the striker can't quite get his head to it in time.

Sociedad finally get back down the other end as Granero curls the ball in for Agirretxe, but Alexis beats him to it to head it behind for a corner. Pardo attempts to lash it in from the resulting free kick, but he goes for power over accuracy and ends up smashing it well high.

Sociedad attempt to put the hosts under pressure at the back again, but Castro ends up tripping Naldo, giving the home side a free kick and allowing them to get back down the other end.

CHANCE! Getafe force a corner down the other end, and Rulli has to pull off a spectacular save to deny Leon as he unleashed a low drive with plenty of pace on the ball from the edge of the box, but the keeper just spots it at the last second and dives to stop it squeezing into the bottom corner.

The visitors soon have a corner of their own back down the other end as Prieto's cross in for Agirretxe is turned behind, but Granero's delivery back in is soon headed clear.

Sociedad have certainly started to see more of the ball over the last five minutes or so, and they're on the attack again, with Prieto chipping the ball in for Castro, but the forward couldn't control it in time to get a shot away.

CHANCE! Sociedad are really finishing this first half strongly as a long ball in from Granero on the wing finds Agirretxe, but his header towards the bottom corner is a fraction wide.

CHANCE! Getafe reaction to Sociedad's attacking spell with a sudden counter, eventually resulting in a shot on the half-volley from Leon, who has been superb so far tonight. However, the equally excellent Rulli spots the danger again and makes the save.

CHANCES! Rulli is really being made to work hard as he pulls off a stunning double save to deny Castro and Escudero right at the end of the half, and it looks like he's injured himself in the process. It would be a huge loss if he couldn't return for the second half.

HALF TIME: Getafe 0-0 Real Sociedad

Rulli is helped off as his teammates and the Getafe players head down the tunnel. Sociedad have the keeper the thank for them still being on level terms, as he has made some truly breath-taking saves in the opening 45 minutes.

Here's a look at some of the stats from the first half. Sociedad had quite a bit more of the ball with 58% of the possession, but Getafe had almost twice as many shots with nine to the visitors' five. Getafe have also had five efforts on target, while Sociedad have tested the opposition keeper just once.

Should Rulli be unable to return in the second half for the visitors, Zubikarai is on the bench. However, Rulli was eventually able to hobble to the sideline and head down the tunnel unaided, so he should be ok.

The players are starting to make their way back out ready for second half, including Rulli.

RESTART! The hosts get the action back underway.

Sociedad have made the brighter start, with Prieto trying to find Pardo in the opening moments of the second half, but Diego Castro is back to make sure they don't get the shot away.

CHANCE! The visitors are really taking it to Getafe early in the second half as Canales rounds a couple of defenders before blasting the ball towards the bottom corner, but Guaita does just enough to parry it clear.

The visitors win a free kick which Leon curls in for Castro. His effort is cleared, but also as far on Canales, who tried to lash it back it, but it's scuffed and is easily saved by the keeper.

CHANCE! What an opportunity for Socedad! Prieto plays the ball back for Canales, despite having just the keeper to beat himself. The delay allows Guaita to rush off his line and shrink the target for the winger, and the shot is blocked. If Prieto had taken that on himself, it would surely have been 1-0 now.

Sociedad are continuing to attack, but this time Getafe win it back quickly and look to get the better of the visitors on the counter. Sociedad don't have enough players back, but Rulli manages to hold on to Castro's cross.

Getafe are finally starting to get going in this second half as Lacen and Sarabia patiently play their way through midfield before the latter curls the ball in, forcing Rulli to turn it behind for a corner. The keeper is furious with his defenders!

GOAL! Getafe 0-1 Real Sociedad (Inigo Martinez)

Inigo Martinez finally breaks the deadlock as the visitors win a free kick 30 yards out on the flank. Granelo whips it in to perfection for Martinez, who heads it onto the post and in off the keeper. There may be an argument for that being a Vicente Guaita own goal, but Martinez is claiming it.

BOOKING! Juan Rodriguez is the first player to go in the book as he wants a penalty when he appears to be tripped by Granero. It's unclear whether he's booked for diving, or for his protests when the referee waves play on, but either way he'll miss the next match.

Getafe definitely have a little more urgency about them now as they push to get back on level terms. Alexis comes down the right before heading it in towards the Sociedad goal, but it's cleared by Canales.

SUB! The home side are the first to make the change, and it's the lively Pedro Leon making way for Abdoul Yoda.

The hosts force a corner when Diego Castro makes a quick run forward, but Xabi Preito is back to help defend it, and he swiftly makes the clearance for Sociedad. Assuming the visitors hold on for the win, it will be their first league win since last April!

SUB! It's a first change for the visitors as Esteban Granero is done, with Markel Bergara coming into the midfield.

CHANCE! Velazquez battles hard to create some space on the edge of the box before blasting the ball towards the Sociedad goal, but it;s deflected behind. Much to the defender's frustration though, the deflection goes unnoticed, and the visitors are awarded a goal kick.

SUB! Sociedad make another change as Hervias takes the place of Gonzalo Castro.

SUB! The changes are coming thick and fast now as Fredy Hinestroza comes on to play the final 10 minutes in place of Diego Castro. That's a surprisingly defensive move from Getafe, who need to find a goal from somewhere.

BOOKING! Canales gets forward to try to held the visitors extend their lead, but he leads with the elbow while battling with Rodriguez, earning himself a yellow card. It's a really out-of-character move from the winger.

CHANCE! Getafe look for the equaliser as Lacen tries the rifle the ball home from the edge of the box, but Rulli looks unbeatable tonight, and makes another solid save.

CHANCE! Getafe are desperately piling forward now and they force a free kick. It's curled in by Sarabia, put Pardo puts it behind for a corner. Everyone except the keeper came forward for that shot, but the hosts just can't seem to get the better of the visitors tonight.

BOOKING! Alexis picks up a booking for clattering into Hervias, which also gives the visitors a free kick in a dangerous position, but Bergara's ball in is overhit, and goes straight out without touching another player.

There are three minutes of stoppage time separating Sociedad and their first away win in 11 months. It's the visitors who are on the attack too, but Guaiti comes to the edge of his area to boot a through-ball clear.

SUB! Imanol Agirrexte takes his time making his way to the sideline as the visitors make their final change, with Gorka Urkola coming on for a late cameo.

BOOKING! It's all getting a little heated in the final moments and Sarabia earns a yellow card for a late tackle.

FULL TIME: Getafe 0-1 Real Sociedad

So, Real Sociedad finally have their first away win of the season thanks to an Inigo Martinez header and some fantastic work between the posts from Geronimo Rulli.

The win lifts David Moyes's side up to 10th in the table, just behind Espanyol on goal difference, while Getafe stay 13th.

That's all from this match, but join us again tomorrow to see how Spanish champions Atletico Madrid get on in their Champions League match against Bayer Leverkusen. Until then, thanks for joining me this evening. Goodbye.
